Go Meet Chelmsford - July

Go Meet Duxford is a networking event held bi-monthly at The Officers' Mess Business Centre. Tickets are £15, or free for Mantle tenants, and include breakfast.

We are delighted to invite Glenys Chatterley to sponsor this event. Glenys Chatterley left the corporate world over 25years ago because, although she had achieved great success, she realised she wasn’t having fun. Becoming self-employed but with no idea what she should do, she used her networks to set up first an interior design company and then a catering and event company. Both of these she grew by networking with other business people so that they felt able to introduce her to their contacts. When the opportunity came to own a business networking company she decided to take on another challenge: she had in fact been in the process of selling her business with a view to retiring.

Today she is Managing Director of Effective Business Network (ebn), which she has grown over the past 8 years.During her time in business, using networking as a powerful marketing tool, she has developed a system of what to do before, during and after any networking event, although to quote Glenys “If you’re not talking to yourself, then you are networking.” Come to her presentation and she’ll show you her system.
